Problem/project: Credit Suisse was looking for a Software
firm to support the Y2K problem and ongoing operations
in different branches world-wide.
Solution/benefits received by the client: NileSoft dedicated an
allocated team of 28 persons working on this project for 2 years
totalling up to 56 man years of contracted work, addressing CSPB
needs and requirements during 98 and 99, namely in the following set
of projects:
Electronic Banking Project for Credit Suisse Private Banking,
Zurich (1998)
NileSoft was responsible for the analysis and
design of an Online Banking System for Credit Suisse Private
Banking. The system mainly serves the independent asset managers,
thus enabling them to remotely access their clients' banking
information needed for managing their portfolios over the internet.
NileSoft expanded the scope of the project to serve the Bank's
ordinary Private Clients as well. NileSoft has achieved a solution
that is:
- Modular, with each module serving a specific
category.
-Sophisticated, but can easily and with minimum
administrative efforts control clients'
access.
-Independent
from the original Banking System.
-Parameter Driven, thus could
be implemented easily at different banking environment.
-Can
execute on any AS/400 environment.

package was written in "DAISI" Language (a proprietary in-house

machine in Luxembourg connected to Egypt via a 128K bit/s leased

successfully fulfilled the needs of its very demanding and
professional customer and proved to be able to work within very tied
time frames.
