Problem/project:

Memphis wanted a new generation from its desktop version 'Survey Explorer' - a statistical analysis tool which serves market research companies to get the data which they are transforming to the data server and display that data in the form of charts and cross table in multi-dimension relationships. Memphis wanted it to run on the internet platform and work with many data servers world-wide and to put that product on the edge of technology using the internet as a rapid development tool.

Solution:

A development competence centre was created at our NileSoft facility, The team worked on web enabling the Survey Explorer - an interactive, graphical Windows solution for analysing and presenting market research and other statistical information which enables market research companies to provide interactive surveys for their clients. The new generation is called 'Isurvey Explorer' which is built on the concept of the multi-tier architecture J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) using Jrun application server which could be accessed via any browser.

Benefits received by the client: The end user (thin client) is capable of building his query and displaying the results in the form of private charting components using the internet version of Survey Explorer (Isurvey Explorer).
